1 C Flour (Original Recipe: Whole Wheat; Current practice: Almond)
1 C rolled Oats
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 C Oil
1/4 C Honey
1/2 tsp Almond flavoring (or vanilla for other fruits)

1 C chopped Apricots (or other dried fruit)
1/3 C Water
1/2 tsp Almond (or vanilla) flavoring.

mix dry ingredients together. Stir in the flavoring, oil and honey with a fork. Press of half the dough into the bottom of a 8 or 9 inch pan that has been greased.

Combine chopped fruit with water and cook over low heat until think (about 5 minutes). Add flavoring. Spread over dough. Pat remaining dough in a thin layer.

Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until browned.
