1 cup milk, scalded
4 egg yolks
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
3 TBSP Grand Marnier

1: In a double boiler over medium heat beat egg yolks until thick and light colored; whisk in the cream, milk, sugar, and salt. Cook stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, until the mixture thickens and can cover the back of the spoon.

2: Remove from heat and whisk in the vanilla and Grand Marnier. Pour into bowl and serve at room temp.
